Where Should We Go on Vacation?

​“Where should we go on vacation?” It seems like such a simple question, but the answer can often be so overwhelming! There are so many amazing places to go, and beautiful things to see, how do you pick the perfect place?

1. Who are you traveling with?Your spouse, or friend? Extended family? A whole bunch of kids? There are ways to have an amazing vacation to almost any destination no matter what kind of traveling party you have! Knowing those you’ll be traveling with, and what kind of accommodations you’ll be looking for will help us find you the best way to make the most of your vacation. 
2. What is your budget?Think through your full budget for the vacation including airfare, resort, rental car or other ground transportation, food, excursions, etc. You’ll want to begin planning your vacation knowing what you’ll be comfortable with when you return from your trip. Also, knowing your budget will help you to know what kinds of vacation options are the best fit!
3. What kind of vacation is most interesting to you?Do you want to sleep in, lay on a beach and really relax? Are you looking for a high energy/ high excitement vacation that includes ziplining, parasailing, or other activities? Are you looking for a more ‘learning’ vacation with lots of history, art, and culture? Knowing what you are most interested in will help to narrow down your destination options considerably!
4. Do you have passports, and if not could you get them in time for your trip?Having a passport opens up a lot of vacation options, but if you’re closer to your desired travel dates having a passport expedited can really add up! If you already have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. You will need your passport to be valid for 6 months after your trip, or you’ll need to renew before you travel!
5. What are you comfortable with?If a destination makes you feel unsafe or nervous for any reason, it’s not the destination for you no matter how many friends have recommended it! There is no one perfect destination, just the perfect destination for you and we’d love to help you find it!
