Carnival Cruise Lines Newest Ship to Brew Beer Onboard

Attention beer lovers everywhere... Carnival Cruise Line is now up-ing its game in the on board pub world. Featured on their newest ship, the Carnival Vista, will be the RedFrog Pub & Brewery. The pub will feature hand-crafted beers made right on the ship. Now that is a cruise amenity I could learn to love!

Carnival has partnered with Miami, FL based Concrete Beach Brewery to create three original recipes by sourcing and selecting the finest ingredients. Your clients will have the opportunity to enjoy:

• ThirstyFrog Port Hoppin’ IPA: Offering aromatic, floral and hoppy notes with passion fruit and citrus overtones
• ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat: An unfiltered lager with aromas of bananas and spices
• FriskyFrog Java Stout: A take on a traditional stout, rich and creamy with hints of coffee

Carnival already does a pretty good job of bringing in local brews to their sailings around the US.  They already serve Concrete Beach Brewery’s Rica Wheat IPA, Angel City Brewery’s Pilsner, Coney Island’s Hard Root Beer and 1609 Amber. Ships sailing from Miami feature Concrete Beach Stiltsville Miami-style Pilsner, while Long Beach, CA based ships offer Angel City Brewery IPA and cruises departing from New York City are stocked with Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner.

Carnival also offer beers brewed either locally in homeports or within the homeport state on ships sailing from New Orleans, Galveston, Baltimore and Tampa, as well as ships that sail to Alaska and Hawaii.

Never heard of Concrete Beach Brewery? They are a local Miami craft brewery that has built a good reputation in recent years by focusing on the unique Miami culture and flavors to inspire their beers. They are an independent brewery owned by the Boston Brewing Company of Sam Adams fame.
