Become a Jedi at Disney's Hollywood Studios

As Disney's Hollywood Studios undergoes a major transformation over several years, one of the more near term updates was an enhanced Jedi Training Academy known as Trials of the Temple. One of the many new Star Wars activities, the Trials of the Temple ​is a fun opportunity for the Younglings in your life to learn the ways of the Force and battle the Dark Side.

The concept of this live action show is simple-- the Jedi's have gathered Force-sensitive children from around the galaxy to test whether or not they can become Palawan learners. For this show though it is not a group of actors-- but your very own children showing off their Force and Lightsaber skills!

Under the tutelage of the Jedi, your children learn how to use the Force—and their wit—to wield lightsabers. Now that the Empire has driven the Jedi to the distant corners of the galaxy, the training must proceed in secret at ancient Jedi temples. 

But even with their best effort the Jedi cannot keep the Temple secret. After some initial training the Jedi Masters and younglings are surprised by Darth Vader or maybe even the notorious Jedi Hunter the Seventh Sister Inquisitor.

Each Youngling will get the opportunity to battle one of these dark warriors and help to save the galaxy!

So I know what you are asking-- how can I get my kid signed up for this? You must be between 4 and 12 years of age to participate. You register at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost located between the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! and the 50's Prime Time Café. Registration begins when Disney's Hollywood Studios opens for the day, so be sure to get to the park a little early to be in the front of the line. Your child must be present at the time of registration-- the Cast Member will ask a few short questions to make sure your child is ready for the experience.

And remember, availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis so get there early... And May the Force be With You.
