Ways to Make the Most of Your Disneyland Vacation

Disneyland is definitely a happy place and will bring a lot of joy and memorable experiences to your family. Here are some ways to make the most of your vacation time!

1. Arrive early! I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to park opening.  Head back to the popular rides that will get crowded as the day goes on. Be sure to take FULL advantage of “Magic Morning" hours offered to guests staying at a Disney-owned resort hotel.
2. Purchase tickets with the Park Hopper option.  Disneyland is very different than Disney World. The two park entrances are located right across from one another. I highly recommend the Park Hopper option at Disneyland to make the most of your time!
3. Take advantage of Disneyland’s Fast Pass system. You are able to get one Fast Pass at a time for a specified window of time. Fast Passes for popular rides will be fully distributed early in the day so be sure to grab those first thing! You may want to consider purchasing Disney's MaxPass option. This is a huge timesaver!
4. Build in time for a nap or a swim at the resort pool! This will help you make it to the nighttime parades, shows and fireworks. 
5. If it’s hot outside take full advantage of indoor shows and attractions to escape the afternoon heat in Southern California.
6. If you are thirsty, be sure to ask a Counter Service location for a cup of ice water.  This is much more budget friendly than buying a $2-3 bottle of water/soda.
7. Fantasyland is best early in the morning or later in the day due to crowds.
