Transportation Options Around Disney World

 
​Complimentary Airport Transportation - Disney's Magical Express Transportation
Complimentary airport transportation service, known as Disney's Magical Express, is complimentary roundtrip airport transportation and luggage delivery for Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Once you deplane in Orlando, simply bypass baggage claim and avoid the hassle of having to find transportation and/or a rental car. Disney's Magical Express service transports you from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and delivers your bags to your room for FREE!

Baggage delivery service is free and available to all guests arriving prior to 10pm. If your flight arrives after 10pm, simply stop by baggage claim to pick up any of your checked luggage and then head to the Magical Express Welcome Desk. You can locate Disney’s Magical Express Welcome Desk on the “B” side of the terminal Level 1.

As your vacation draws to a close, you'll receive a Transportation Notice advising you of the pick-up time and place for your motor coach ride back to Orlando International Airport. Please note that it is your responsibility to bring your luggage to the pick-up point. If you do not receive a Transportation Notice at least 24 hours prior to your flight home, simply contact the front desk at your Disney resort.

Disney World Parks Transportation:
When you arrive at your Disney Resort, you will find a wide variety of complimentary transportation options to get you to the 4 theme parks, 2 waterparks, Downtown Disney area and other Disney Resorts

Modes of complimentary transportation include:

• Buses

• Monorail

• Boats/Ferries

• Watertaxis (free of charge)

A good rule of thumb is to allow at least 1 1/2 hour of travel time. Taxis are also readily available through out Disney World for a standard fare.
You will receive a transportation guide map to help you navigate your way around Walt Disney World. Of course you can always ask any Cast Member or bus driver for help in getting from point A to point B.

Please keep in mind that most transportation options begin to operate daily 1 hour prior to park opening until 1 hour after park closing.  For early morning dining reservations it may be necessary to hire a taxi.

Minnie Vans:
Disney has rolled out a new mode of transportation for its guests.  The Minnie Vans will utilize a smart phone app (Lyft) to request the service.  These vans will take you anywhere on property for a flat one-way fee of $25.  Think Uber with a Disney twist!  Two cars seats are available in each Minnie Van, which makes this a perfect option for young families. Up to six (6) guests can be accommodated.
