Travel Advisor Assistant
Whitney World Travel is looking for a Travel Advisor Assistant to join our team. The role will primarily support the Agency owner in client trip planning and back-office functions. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about travel, customer service and having fun! The position will begin with about 10 hours a week on average, but can grow based on individual and agency performance. Great position for stay-at-home parents looking for a part-time job that gives them great flexibility.

​Preference is for candidates in The Woodlands, TX or surrounding areas, but will consider virtual assistants for the right person.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Agency owner with any administrative tasks needed for operations, to include processing accounts receivable and payable, vendor relations and marketing
• Help to ensure all-important details are gathered to put together a trip itinerary. This includes:
• Corresponding by phone and/or email with clients and vendors
• Create and edit detailed trip itineraries
• Prior to each trip, help organize all materials and send out departure packages as needed
• Help organize agency training events and meetings
• Assist with Social Media Channels

• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple assignments at once
• Positive and collaborative attitude
• Technical skills to get the job done. This includes being proficient in Microsoft Office
